Key Job Responsibilities
This role focuses on developing and executing strategies to enhance market share, drive business growth, and deliver projects that meet client expectations. It involves leading engagement with clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals across various maritime projects.
Leading project design management to add value throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Coordinating and managing project teams, mentoring less experienced team members, and providing technical leadership across the region.
Preparing proposals and bids for projects, contributing to business development activities, and building relationships with clients.
Collaborating with international colleagues to pursue opportunities and deliver projects successfully.
Main Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in technical leadership and project management of large-scale maritime infrastructure projects.
Around 15-20 years of professional experience in planning, assessing, analyzing, designing, and remedying maritime structures.
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering complex projects, extensive knowledge of relevant standards and industry best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with clients.
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil or Structural Engineering with relevant registration or chartership.
Eligibility to obtain Australian Government Security Clearance is preferred.
