Maritime Engineer - Design and Delivery Expert

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maritime Engineer to join our National Maritime Team. As a key member of the team, you will be involved in the design and planning activities for large-scale maritime facilities.

  • You will work collaboratively with other disciplines across the industry.

The role involves applying your expertise in structural design, reinforced concrete, and steel to deliver high-quality projects from concept to construction phase support. You will also have opportunities to grow your leadership and business development skills through project management and proposal tasks.

We are seeking individuals with between 2 and 5 years' experience who possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in structural design, reinforced concrete, and steel.
  • A strong interest or experience in the design, evaluation, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.
  • Proven capability and experience in using structural analysis software such as SPACE GASS, Strand 7, IDEAStatica.
  • An interest or experience working with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector.
  • Familiarity with Australian design codes and guidelines.
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Eligibility for Australian Government security clearance.
