We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our Sales Engineering team as a Hydraulic Sales Engineer at our Melbourne office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions to our customers and applying the latest technologies for state-of-the-art design and Industry 4.0 applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design integrated hydraulic and control solutions for new equipment using our high-performance electrical control components, supported by our highly experienced electrical programming team.
- Meet with customers regularly to support new business and build relationships.
- Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to customers.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in a hydraulic system design role with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
- Understanding/experience working with PLC and motion controllers is desirable.
- Experience in Sales (hydraulic and electrical controls equipment is desired).
- Strong communication skills suitable for a highly motivated individual.
- The ability to draw, read, and understand hydraulic schematics is a pre-requisite.
