
Federal Government Agency Complaints Resolution Specialist

Hoban Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Complaints Officer for a federal government agency.
The Internal Reviews and Complaints Branch coordinates the handling and resolution of internal reviews and complaints. The team manages complaints in a timely manner by working with participants, providers, internal staff, and external agencies.
The Complaints Team prepares high-level advice, including letters, briefs, and reports, for various audiences.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Managing complaints and participant incidents, assessing, recording, resolving, and referring as required.
- Escalating complaints and meeting strict deadlines.
- Producing quality written correspondence for a range of audiences.
- Coordinating correspondence, briefing, and reporting functions.
**Requirements:**
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- High-resolution and deescalating skills.
- Previous experience working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Relevant experience within the Health Sector and/or working with people with disabilities.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding and empathy towards people with disabilities.
- Australian citizenship.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including participants, providers, and internal staff. You will be responsible for managing complaints and participant incidents, escalating complaints, and producing quality written correspondence.
