We are seeking a senior professional to provide leadership and management within our Social Work Department.
- Lead a team of social workers in delivering evidence-based care to individuals, families and communities affected by substance use.
Our goal is to reduce the harms associated with substance use and prevent drug misuse. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to achieve this.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide senior clinical leadership and management to the team.
- Mentor and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Carry a caseload of clients requiring support and intervention.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant experience in providing Social Work services.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships through effective communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities and lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of service delivery incorporating continuous improvement, evidence-based practice and research.
- A dynamic workforce environment that utilises innovative, evidence-based skills and interventions.
