About the RoleThis Grade 5 Registered Nurse position demands expertise in nursing and aged care practices. As a vital member of our clinical nursing team, you will be responsible for providing safe and high-quality patient care, leading and collaborating with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes.
The successful candidate will be tasked with:
- Delivering exceptional patient care, including medication administration and guidance to care staff.
- Engaging in reflective practice, interpreting data, and communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborating with residents, their families, and the broader team to plan, implement, and evaluate integrated care that optimizes resident outcomes.
You will report directly to the Associate Director of Clinical Services and General Manager, and indirectly manage organizational representatives.
Essential Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- A Board-approved qualification in medicines administration.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in aged care, supported by well-developed and contemporary clinical skills and knowledge.
