Lead Care Practitioner

The role of Senior Social Worker is a critical position within the Drug Health Services team, requiring a professional and compassionate individual to provide senior clinical leadership and team management. This position will also involve supporting the mentoring and development of staff while carrying a clinical caseload.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide senior clinical leadership and team management within the Social Work Department
- Support the mentoring and development of staff
- Carry a clinical caseload
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Social Work services
- Experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Experience and ability to identify opportunities and innovatively lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of service delivery incorporating continuous improvement, evidence based practice and research
