Indigenous Business Development Specialist

As a key business development professional, this role will play a pivotal part in strengthening economic ties and fostering self-sufficiency among indigenous Australians. The successful candidate will cultivate strategic partnerships with corporate, government, and non-profit organisations to enhance their engagement with indigenous businesses.
Responsibilities:- Cultivate an organisational culture that values diversity and promotes integrity within the workforce and amongst stakeholders.
- Develop and implement initiatives to boost the organisation's indigenous workforce participation.
- Provide expert guidance and support to members in achieving their supplier diversity objectives through targeted training, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
- Nurture strong, collaborative relationships with key member contacts.
- Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and contemporary challenges facing indigenous Australians in business.
- Proven experience working with large corporate entities and familiarity with Indigenous procurement policies and frameworks.
