We are seeking a skilled professional to support our mission of creating meaningful and sustainable change in Indigenous communities.

About the Role

The Relationship Manager will provide crucial support to members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and services to increase their business activity with Indigenous businesses. You will be responsible for fostering strong relationships between member organisations and Indigenous suppliers, championing cultural values, and driving supplier diversity objectives.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to members, responding promptly to their needs and expectations.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to grow the organisation's Indigenous workforce, promoting cultural practices and knowledge throughout the organisation.
  • Assist members in achieving their supplier diversity goals through training, mentorship, and provision of relevant tools and systems.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with key member contacts, representing the organisation in meetings and events.
  • Establish yourself as a supplier diversity expert, providing guidance and support to members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander societies and cultures.
  • Experience working with large corporate organisations, interpreting government Indigenous procurement policies.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and liaison skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of business from C-suite to operations.
  • Digital competence in tools including Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
