At Whizdom Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Data Systems Optimization Expert to ensure the seamless operation of our data systems. This role involves developing automated solutions, monitoring performance, and solving complex database issues to maintain efficient, secure, and optimized data environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and configure tools for automating routine database administration tasks, enhancing productivity and reducing manual errors.
  • Monitor performance statistics, generate insightful reports, and identify performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal system utilization.
  • Work across various DBMS platforms, including Microsoft SQL/Express, MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, adapting to diverse technology stacks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, providing recommended solutions and corrective actions to prevent data losses and security breaches.
Location and Contract Term

The contract period is 12 months, with possible extension options, offering stability and opportunities for growth.

Security Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen, meeting the government's requirements. Additionally, due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates hold current NV1 Security Clearance and have the ability to obtain and Maintain a TSPV, as well as undergo an OSA.
