We are seeking a seasoned Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) expert to join our team as a Logistics Optimization Specialist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for advancing our warehouse management capabilities and supporting the implementation and optimization of WMS solutions across our operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with in-house and/or external warehouse management systems, including implementation phases such as testing, documentation, and go-live support. You should also possess a deep understanding of warehousing and transportation processes, material handling equipment, and key cost/productivity drivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Full-Cycle WMS Implementation: Lead the full cycle implementation of WMS solutions, including data collection, documentation, system testing, training staff, and supporting operations during the go-live phase.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement new functionalities across existing WMS sites, focusing on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a functional/process-based subject matter expert in the deployment and management of the WMS, ensuring best practices in system utilization and management.
  • Provide First-Line Support: Offer timely troubleshooting, ongoing training, and support to enhance system performance and user competence.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in warehouse management systems (JDA/BlueYonder a bonus), preferably as a WMS super user, operations supervisor, or inventory controller in a distribution center environment.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with in-house and/or external warehouse management systems, including implementation phases such as testing, documentation, and go-live support.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
