Personal Care Assistant Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, enabling them to live with dignity and independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assisting residents with mobility, transfers, and exercises as required
  • Supporting residents with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
  • Encouraging social interaction and participation in activities that promote resident engagement and well-being
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
  • A Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Nursing, or related health/care studies
  • Prior experience in aged care, either directly or indirectly (e.g., volunteer work, caring for family members)
  • A commitment to delivering person-centred care that respects the autonomy and individuality of each resident
