About the Role:

The Communications & Engagement Coordinator is a key position within the Australian Creative Histories & Futures (ACHF) project. This role is responsible for implementing engagement and communication strategies to promote the purpose and outcomes of the ACHF project.

The successful candidate will work closely with the ACHF Research Leads and Project Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan that engages various stakeholders and promotes the project’s benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-design a communications plan for the ACHF project using the ARDC communication toolkit.
  • Lead the delivery of the ACHF project communications plan, including sector engagement, to achieve the ACHF project engagement KPIs.
  • Co-design marketing and communications activities targeting prioritised stakeholders in support of the ACHF project.
  • Develop the content creation for both internal & external audiences in collaboration with the Division of External Engagement and/or third party agencies & suppliers.
  • Manage a broad range of marketing, communication, and engagement activities to raise the public profile of ACHF and showcase its benefits.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent experience, or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience in a similar role, or in research communication.
  • Proven track record to deliver and measure strategic and creative engagement, marketing and communications initiatives that align with overall strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a variety of events and sound understanding of the steps involved in working with event owners, presenters, stakeholders and audiences.
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, to achieve desired outcomes.
