The Role: Business Development Manager
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building strategic plans to gain market share in localised areas. This involves utilising business development skills to build long-term connections with local community groups, stakeholders, and partners to drive business opportunities.
You will be primarily responsible for customer acquisition and establishing quality referral partner relationships. Prospecting and networking skills are critical for continued growth.
This permanent, full-time position is based in Newcastle.
About You
We're looking for someone with highly developed lending knowledge and credit analysis skills. You'll also need business development capability and proven community networking skills. Established quality referrals and networks are advantageous, but not essential. Financial management, business acumen, and risk framework understanding are crucial. Additionally, you should be able to exceed customer expectations through individual financial needs assessment and tailored lending solutions. Self-driven individuals with initiative and attention to detail, who can work autonomously and assess customer needs, will thrive in this role.
