
Aboriginal Community Support Specialist

This position is a vital component of our team, dedicated to providing supportive services to Aboriginal individuals and families. As a Social and Emotional Wellbeing Worker, you will work collaboratively with the Alcohol and other Drugs team to deliver effective interventions and promote positive change.
Main Responsibilities:
- To provide culturally sensitive support and guidance to clients, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and circumstances.
- To develop and implement targeted group programs, focusing on early intervention and prevention strategies.
- To establish strong relationships with community stakeholders and service providers, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordinated care.
- To participate in health promotion initiatives, raising awareness about critical issues affecting Aboriginal communities.
The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable populations and a commitment to delivering high-quality services that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
