Towilla Purruttiappendi (TP) provides support services to assist people dealing with issues such as grief and loss, depression, domestic and family violence, family and/or relationship matters, and other issues impacting social and emotional wellbeing.

The programme offers assertive engagement and provision of holistic culturally appropriate casework and counselling services to reduce risk and promote sustainable positive outcomes for families.

The Case Manager's primary role includes providing culturally safe casework services, ensuring comprehensive case management plans are in place, and working in partnership with other programs to provide wrap-around supports.

Additional responsibilities include referral, advocacy, and liaison activities, education/awareness presentations, and promoting our services through networking and education.

We require candidates with a minimum Certificate 4 qualification or two years of demonstrated vocational experience, understanding of contemporary issues facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and ability to work within relevant legislative frameworks.

Essential skills also include organisational skills, self-confidence, and ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, staff, and other providers.
