**Job Summary**

We are seeking an Aboriginal Engagement Officer to play a key role in engaging with the Eyre Peninsula's Aboriginal community and organisations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on an Aboriginal engagement and participation plan.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement an Aboriginal engagement and participation plan;
  • Work closely with local Aboriginal organisations to set clear targets and methods for engaging in collaborative activities and initiatives;
  • E nsure projects and initiatives include Aboriginal engagement and participation.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Experience and ability to engage with Aboriginal communities and organisations;
  • Ability to build cultural competency within staff;
  • Current driver's licence;
  • Willingness to undergo a police clearance if successful.
