Job Title: Senior Conference Lead

The role of senior conference lead is a critical component within the global content operations team, responsible for managing and executing various conference elements relating to agenda management and onsite session delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead operational delivery of all agenda elements across multiple concurrent in-person conferences including agenda management, capacity planning, financial management and staff coordination.

  • Communication and collaboration across conference operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality conferences; build effective relationships with peers in all regions, share best practices to continuously raise the level of our conferences globally.

  • Partner with program management in delivering client-focused agendas; develop and roll out new processes for session management and agenda guidelines.

  • Create and manage client-facing websites and conference apps that display all session information for attendees; adhere to agenda go live and session access deadlines.

  • Analyze data to improve attendee engagement and predict attendee behavior to determine optimal conference elements; identify and plan for regional attendance trends.

  • Maintain conference master planners to ensure up-to-date session information and room allocation are available to key stakeholders.

  • Attend conferences as the onsite lead for in-person delivery including managing session execution, data collection and liaison with agency partners and vendors.

  • Collaborate with Content leadership on projects to scale business and bring best practices to APAC region; proactively identify improvements for global processes.

  • Evaluate experience, feedback and results, implement changes accordingly; create detailed post-conference analysis reports and conference debriefs for review with management/other team members.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Achieve operational excellence and execute conferences on time, within budget and with attention to detail.

  • Ensure conference consistency through standardized and operational processes, project management and best practices during planning and onsite execution.

  • Develop comprehensive understanding of conference business including value proposition for attendees and exhibitors.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • 3 - 5 years relevant event experience.

  • Experience working in corporate environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, cross-functionally and with agency partners.

  • Creative, innovative and strategic thinker with attention to detail.

  • Motivated team player with desire to learn and grow.

  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills.

  • Able to adapt, implement and manage change and strive for continuous improvement.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in high-pressure situations.

  • Willingness to support onsite conferences approximately 20% of time.
