Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AR Operations Manager to lead our Accounts Receivable team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the AR team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments, credit applications, and collections.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and mentor a team of 7 Accounts Receivable Officers to achieve business outcomes and uphold company values.
  2. Oversee credit applications, allocations, and customer service functions.
  3. Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve disputes and ensure timely debt recovery.
  4. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  5. Monitor and report on KPIs and service levels, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
  6. Manage bad debts and ensure receivables are collected within agreed DSO targets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within accounts receivable or credit control (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong understanding of AR processes with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities.
  • Dynamic, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for process optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Team player who leads by example and fosters a culture of accountability and growth.
