Client Details

Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation with operations across Australia and New Zealand, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on accuracy, and is confident managing end-to-end receivables across multiple entities.

Description

  • Prepare and issue timely, accurate invoices across Australian and New Zealand entities

  • Monitor and maintain the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all payments are accurately posted

  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve any payment discrepancies

  • Generate and analyse aging reports, escalating collection issues when necessary

  • Produce monthly sales and debtor reports by the 4th of each month for executive and board reporting

  • Support audits and assist the Finance team with ad hoc projects as required

Profile

  • Prior experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar accounting function

  • Proficient with accounting systems (Xero or Microsoft Dynamics experience highly regarded)

  • Strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail

  • Solid understanding of financial processes and regulatory requirements

  • Organised, proactive, and capable of managing competing priorities

  • Clear and professional communicator who can confidently liaise with internal and external stakeholders
