Specification Sales Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Specification Sales Manager to enhance awareness of our products within the building materials community.
The Role- Build and manage relationships with specification partners, architects, specifiers, and designers in designated territories to secure product specifications in projects and BOQs.
- Generate market demand through effective territory management, sales meetings, and presentations to businesses, targeting key contracts in the Building Materials and specification channel.
- Work closely with Sales Executives, regional and national teams, and core functions (marketing, logistics, legal, finance) to align with strategies and achieve business objectives.
- Record activities in SAP-CRM, respond to inquiries, and participate in strategy discussions to implement successful procedures and improve outcomes.
- Take initiative to identify problems, develop solutions, and seize opportunities to enhance processes, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to responsibilities.
- A degree is preferred, with a minimum of 7+ years of sales experience, including 4+ years in a commercial specification sales role, ideally in the building materials industry.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, account management, negotiation, and achieving results within a KPI-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of the brand's integrity and its application within the building materials sector.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Solid grasp of accounting, financial, and business transactions to support informed decision-making and strategy implementation.
The estimated annual salary for this role is between $80,000 to $120,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
