We are seeking a highly skilled Event Manager to join our Conferences, Meetings & Events team at Arts Centre Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing a variety of internal and external events, including corporate and private functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage events from conception to execution, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional customer experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event execution and continuous improvement.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics to ensure efficient and effective event delivery.
Requirements
- Relevant professional or tertiary qualification in Tourism and Hospitality Management or equivalent experience.
- A firm understanding of the sales and events process and event operations/challenges.
- A creative and flexible approach with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Active leader who contributes to a positive and harmonious working environment.
- Strong planning, organisational and administration skills.
- Resilient to change; adapts to organisational focus & competing priorities and demands.
