Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Conference and Events Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring efficient, friendly, and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests.
  • Supervising and mentoring C & E team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of performance and service.
  • Setting up banquet areas/rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup of furniture/equipment.
  • Being actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the event spaces.
  • Ensuring guest billing is completed accurately following Hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.
  • Stocktaking and controlling beverages throughout the events operations.
  • Ensuring operations are in accordance with the hotel's Liquor License and Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a Conference and Events outlet.
  • A Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of a variety of beverages, including beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
  • Micros knowledge desirable.
  • The ability to work full-time, across a flexible 7-day roster.
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle increased workloads during peak times.
