About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Conference and Events Operations Manager to join our C&E Operations team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our events and conferences. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring strict adherence to OH&S policies and procedures, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining the highest quality standards of work.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and driven individual who is passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service. You will have the opportunity to work with a highly experienced team and contribute to the success of RACV City Club.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and planning high-volume corporate events, residential conferences, and AGMs
  • Leading a team and providing guidance, training, and coaching
  • Ensuring compliance with OH&S policies and procedures
  • Resolving customer complaints and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Developing and implementing effective operational strategies

Requirements

  • Previous C&E Assistant Manager experience, preferably in the hotel industry
  • Experience in coordinating and planning high-volume corporate events, residential conferences, and AGMs
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to train, coach, and motivate a team
  • Strong business acumen, time management, and organisational skills
  • Passion for the hospitality industry, with a sound understanding of product knowledge
  • High grooming standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
