Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team at Maven Dental. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinicians in delivering high-quality dental services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist our clinicians in providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring the patient's comfort and well-being.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care, promoting a positive patient experience.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of clinical time.
- Perform reception duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing patient records.
Requirements:
- Proficient in dental terminology and procedures, with a strong understanding of clinical protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clinicians, and other team members.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Knowledge of dental software systems is an asset, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
