We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our esteemed board of governors. This is a rare opportunity to contribute your governance expertise and make a tangible difference in women's health and wellbeing across Australia and New Zealand.
About the Opportunity
RANZCOG, the leading standards body responsible for training and education of specialists and GP obstetricians in Australia and New Zealand, seeks expressions of interest from governance experts to join its Independent Board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend all Board meetings and Council meetings
- Provide external independent views based on specific skills and experience
- Engage and communicate effectively with members, trainees, staff, and other stakeholders
- Participate in RANZCOG bodies according to their respective terms of reference
Benefits:
- Reasonable travel expenses covered for board meetings
- Approximately 11 board meetings annually, requiring essential attendance
Becoming a Governor
Our board members act voluntarily for 2 years, with a possibility of serving up to 3 two-year terms if reappointed. If you have strong governance expertise and a passion for making a difference in women's health and wellbeing, we encourage you to apply.
