Job Title: Video Storytelling Volunteer


Program Area: Communications and Digital Marketing


Description:


We are seeking a skilled video storyteller to join our communications team. As a volunteer, you will work with us to create high-quality video materials that showcase the stories and issues of people seeking asylum and our community.


Responsibilities:



  • Produce engaging video content for our website and social media channels
  • Manage concept briefs and projects, providing suggestions to the communications team from pre-production to post-production
  • Collaborate with our team to bring your ideas to life
  • Ensure high-quality production values by bringing your own equipment or working with ours
  • Project check-ins with the communications team (flexible timing)

Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Excellent video production and storytelling skills, with a strong portfolio
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva (desired)
  • Experience working with diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on extra tasks as needed
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines
