">About the Role">- Deliver strengths-based information, assessment, referral, advocacy, support, group work, and brokerage assistance to young people using a culturally safe framework.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes and comprehensive support for young people.
- Demonstrate expertise in trauma-informed practice, case management approaches, and youth engagement skills.
- Manage crisis situations effectively and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Hold relevant qualifications in human services or social sciences combined with direct experience working with high-risk/young people & families in a community-based environment.
- Have a strong understanding of practical application of trauma-informed and strengths-based practice approaches.
- Be able to work respectfully and collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their families, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations.
