About the Job
As a Home Claims Professional, you will work closely with customers and repairers to assess and manage home and building claims. You will utilize your technical skills and knowledge of the claims process to provide high-level customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough damage assessments and validate claims in accordance with company policies
- Accurately scope repair works and estimate loss value using industry-standard methods
- Authorise repairs and/or replacement based on quotations from approved service providers
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, repairers, and internal stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation
- Address customer complaints and rectification work in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all relevant workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Meet departmental performance targets for turn-around time, cost of repair, and customer satisfaction
Requirements and Qualifications
- Relevant trade qualifications or background in home claims management/home assessing with 3+ years' experience
- Strong understanding of insurance claims processes and building terminology
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to handle disputes and complaints effectively
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- High attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service
