Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and driven project leader to manage low to medium risk projects that expand and maintain our bus and ferry network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full delivery of infrastructure projects, including planning, budgeting, design input, scheduling, and risk management, ensuring compliance with our project management framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee contract management activities such as procurement, tendering, contract administration, and dispute resolution to maintain project progress and control.
  • Lead and support project teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies and community groups, to ensure clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned, reviewing project performance, and contributing to divisional policies and strategies.
About You
  • Proven experience in project leadership, with eligibility for professional membership of a reputable institute or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead, mentor, and coach team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, negotiate outcomes, and resolve conflicts.
  • Proficiency with relevant systems and software required to perform the duties of this role efficiently.
