We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Allied Health Assistant to join our team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. As a key member of our Physiotherapy department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our physiotherapists and occupational therapists with patient care, including exercises, mobility assistance, and ADL retraining.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists with patient care, including exercises, mobility assistance, and ADL retraining.
- Accurately monitor and evaluate patient programs and conditions.
- Maintain effective communication with all team members, including reporting back to supervising physiotherapists regarding patient management and progress.
- Perform administration duties to support the daily operation of the Physiotherapy department.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) or willingness to obtain.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to undertake a broad range of patient and non-patient related tasks.
