Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate medical professional to join our Palliative Care team at Greenwich Hospital.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care to inpatients and outpatients, working within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive in-patient care to individuals admitted to the Palliative care unit
  • Foster effective collaboration with other team members to achieve optimal patient care
  • Maintain the highest standards of personal professionalism at all times
  • Develop and implement a personalized learning plan for professional growth and development
  • Participate in after-hours care of palliative care inpatients
Requirements:
  • Strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care that aligns with the organization's mission
  • Current unrestricted medical registration or eligibility for registration in NSW
  • Primary medical degree and minimum two years' experience as an RMO
  • Experience in Palliative Medicine or related specialty, with expertise in individual areas expected to reflect current training and professional development
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Current driver's license
  • Demonstrated exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills, including personal organization and leadership abilities
  • Demonstrated compassion and empathetic attitude towards patients
