Senior Mine Waste Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Tailings Engineer to lead our team in Australia.
This role is ideal for a talented professional with a strong background in tailings and mine waste management, who can contribute to and manage innovative and challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities- Civil/Geotechnical/Tailings dam design;
- Geotechnical analyses using various software packages;
- Tailing deposition modeling using Muk3D;
- Site characterization including geotechnical and environmental aspects;
- Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems;
- Project/task management and proposal preparation support;
- Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications;
- Client development and growth.
- Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a related field;
- At least 8 years of directly relevant experience in a consulting environment;
- Proficiency in relevant geotechnical engineering software and numerical modeling tools;
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting deadlines, and traveling as needed;
- Excellent communication and writing skills;
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
