We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Tailings Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work on challenging projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our business.

About the Role:
  • Provide technical direction and expertise on tailings design studies for multi-disciplinary projects locally and internationally.
  • Review work and technical deliverables, and fulfill Engineer of Record roles.
  • Interface with client leads and external subject matter experts to provide complex recommendations and conflict resolution as required.
  • Lead complex risk assessments, including Quantitative Risk Assessment.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Engineering qualification in Civil or Mining Engineering.
  • Proven working experience on tailings/mine waste related projects locally or internationally, ideally in a consulting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently autonomously and in a team environment, including on multi-disciplinary projects.
