Court Interpreter Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Court Interpreter to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality interpreting services within the NSW court environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and high-quality interpreting services at NSW Courts in relevant community languages.
  • Interpret for various court matters onsite at various NSW Court locations.
  • Manage competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate sensitively with diverse customers to facilitate effective communication.
  • Maintain current industry knowledge and compliance with standards and codes of ethics.

Requirements:

  • Current NAATI Certified Interpreter certification in Arabic or Mandarin.
  • Valid Working With Children's Check.
  • Over five years' experience interpreting in court settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Flexibility to travel to various court locations across Sydney and NSW.
