The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

**About the Role**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Administration Coordinator to join our Specialist Courts & Programs team. You will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the Melbourne Drug Court and the Court Integrated Services Program (CISP).

Key accountabilities include:

- Providing accurate advice and information to program participants who may have co-occurring complexities such as mental illness, homelessness, brain injuries and alcohol or other drug issues
- Responding to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders and other visitors, in an efficient, friendly and professional manner
- Managing participant attendance records and testing data whilst maintaining confidentiality in a sensitive environment
- Analysing and interpreting data and statistical information to recognise trends and prepare regular reports to inform management
- Identifying and implementing service delivery and process improvement initiatives
- Developing and maintaining resource manuals, spreadsheets and accurate statistical data and reports
- Maintaining proactive working relationships with judiciary, program managers and team leaders, security staff, registry staff and program staff
- Acting as the escalation point for the Drug Court Administration Officers
- Inducting staff and contractors including undertaking site orientations
- Supporting the Drug Court Program Manager with the learning, development and supervision of the Drug Court Administration Officers
- Assist with administrative support for group programs and therapeutic initiatives
- Providing operational support to senior program leaders and project teams as required.

**About You**
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with experience in reception and records management
- Well-developed communication skills with ability to engage respectfully and professionally with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to analyse data, maintain accurate records and prepare reports
- A collaborative approach to teamwork, with the confidence to escalate and resolve operational issues when needed
