Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing Policy Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing Policy Specialist to join our team at Hudson Australia.
This is a fixed-term contract until June 2025, offering flexible working arrangements with the option to work from home two days a week.
Key Responsibilities- Develop policies that support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander wellbeing through research and analysis of policy issues.
- Support data collection and analysis activities to inform evidence-based policy recommendations.
- Promote stakeholder engagement and build meaningful relationships to foster collaboration on policy initiatives.
- Contribute to the creation of high-quality policy briefs, papers, and submissions.
- Prepare reports, briefing documents, and presentations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
- You will have tertiary qualifications in health or relevant professional experience to contribute to policy development and implementation.
- You will leverage your ability to deliver strategies that achieve measurable outcomes in the not-for-profit or public policy space.
- You will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently, even under pressure.
- You will apply your understanding of policy development to assist in creating high-quality, evidence-based recommendations.
As an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing Policy Specialist, you will be part of a culturally safe and inclusive organisation dedicated to improving the social and emotional wellbeing, mental health, and suicide prevention outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We offer a competitive salary package of approximately $80,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
