Role Overview
This full-time, fixed-term position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Employment Consultant. Working with our Transition to Work contract, you will provide intensive, pre-employment support to improve the work-readiness of young people and assist them into sustainable work or education.
About the Role
You will conduct assessments to identify barriers of the youth and provide direction and support to ensure their journey into appropriate and sustainable employment. This includes motivating and empowering clients throughout their employment journey, engaging and referring participants to stakeholders and community organisations, placing participants into employment by supporting them with job search activities, interview coaching, and resume preparation, as well as matching participants to current vacancies and reverse marketing to identified employers.
