This role will be responsible for providing technical support, coaching and mentoring to frontline staff.

The successful candidate will possess advanced knowledge of the Commercial Insurance Knowledge Base and its processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Mentor and Coach: Guide and support a cohort of Claims Officers to foster a positive risk culture within the risk governance framework.
  2. Escalation Point: Serve as the primary escalation contact for complex referrals and claims decisions outside of the Commercial Property Claims operational teams.
  3. Quality Assurance and Training: Assist with quality assurance, identify training needs, and work with leaders to develop and deliver effective training solutions.
  4. Data-Driven Improvements: Use data from complaints and determinations to identify issues, make recommendations for improvements, and support leaders in reducing customer dissatisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. 3-5 years' experience in commercial property claims or a similar field.
  2. 12 months of coaching and mentoring experience.
  3. Advanced knowledge of the end-to-end commercial property claims process and related systems, including indemnity principles and regulations.
  4. Strong focus on positive customer experiences and ethical decision-making.
  5. Effective time management and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to gaining new skills.
