Transport Operations Coordinator

Job Overview

This is a highly responsible role that plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth delivery of cargo to our customers. As a Transport Operations Coordinator, you will be accountable for coordinating the release of cargo, managing inventory, and arranging distribution of client products.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Verify Customs and AQIS requirements are complete prior to releasing cargo
  • Coordinate delivery to clients, manifests, and documents with carriers according to client needs
  • Manage chep and loscam pallet accounts
  • Monitor outside carriers for performance and cost-effectiveness
  • Update inventory, delivery details, shortages, and problems daily
  • Arrange distribution of client products as required
  • Coordinate OPL Australia-wide, monitor interstate deliveries, source rates
