About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Operations to join our team at Willis Towers Watson. This is a critical role that will support the Head of Corporate Risk & Broking, Pacific in delivering against our strategic imperatives for CRB in the Pacific.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate strategy into action by collaborating with leaders and key stakeholders to ensure strategies are embedded into business plans and daily activities.
  • Communicate complex information simply and compellingly to key stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Monitor business strategy execution to focus on achieving business results.
  • Work closely with the Head of CRB, Pacific and other key stakeholders to align and embed LOB organisational structure and standard operating procedures.
  • Partner with CRB Leaders to develop robust and achievable mid-and-long term business plans.
  • Support the preparation of the annual performance scorecard, including the collection and analysis of key information and determination of metrics.
  • Provide project management support for strategic initiatives, strategic investments, and operational priorities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in client-facing, technical, or placement roles with an international insurance broker.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and manage confidential matters while remaining independent and impartial.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence others across all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously, ensuring confidentiality, attention to detail, and timely delivery.
  • Able to communicate effectively across various mediums.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to read and interpret financial results.
  • Demonstrated project management and work planning skills.
  • A self-starter who can work independently while balancing the need to work effectively as part of a multi-functional and virtual team.
