Job Title:

Residential Care Specialist

Job Description:

As a Residential Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and daily lives of children and young people. Your key responsibilities will include providing hands-on care and assistance with daily activities, such as cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe living environment.

You will also be involved in responding to incidents, writing case notes, and collaborating with other team members to ensure the highest level of care and support is provided to our clients.

This role requires a genuine passion for working with young people and a commitment to delivering high-quality services that make a positive impact on their lives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (or similar qualification)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation and empathy
