Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee internal controls over all relevant systems, IT policies, procedures, change, and project management. This individual will coordinate SOX-ITGC and other IT regulatory compliance activities with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead as the Compliance subject matter expert working with IT, FP&A, Labs, Cybersecurity, and cross-functional process owners.
  • Update and align IT processes, systems, controls, and policies to industry standards.
  • Drive and facilitate ongoing IT compliance training programs.
  • Maintain and enhance SOX controls documentation.
  • Proactively participate in planning, prioritization, and delivery of system enhancements.
  • Conduct risk-based internal audits to determine soundness, adequacy, and application of IT and controls.
  • Manage the year-end external audit.
  • Oversee confidential control reviews and special investigations.
  • Ascertain the appropriateness of asset protection and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in IT and Cybersecurity Governance Council.
  • Perform all assigned audit duties in a manner that reflects the highest professional standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems.
  • Professional certification such as CISA, CIA, or similar.
  • Recent hands-on experience in SOX/FDA/EUMDR/CLIA/CAP/GMP/ISO.
  • Life science, Medical Device, and Healthcare industry experience.
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the 2013 COSO framework, and SEC guidance.
  • Strong planning, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.
