Job Description

As a Bid Estimator at Veolia, you will play a crucial role in estimating major remediation projects nationwide from our Pyrmont office.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level estimation and tender services to support major projects in the Remediation Services space.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements nationally, ensuring competitive bids.
  • Comprehensively review tender documents to understand project scope, contract intent, specifications, and special conditions.
  • Effectively plan tenders to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • Lead estimation, quotation, and tendering efforts by recommending rehabilitation methodologies and delivery models.
  • Establish robust relationships with stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Support additional work requests as part of existing contracts.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil or Environmental), Construction, or Surveying.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Bid Estimator in civil or construction sectors.
  • Experience working on complex projects and tenders of varying sizes.
  • Strong understanding of Quality, WHS, and Environmental Management systems.
  • Ability to manage strict deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High attention to detail for tender documentation, preparation, and submission.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship-building skills.
