About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Remediation Services Project Estimator to join our team in Pyrmont. As a key member of our Remediation Services team, you will be responsible for estimating major remediation projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-level estimation and tender services to support major projects in the Remediation Services space.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements nationally, including preferred rates, to ensure a competitive edge in the bid submission process.
  • To comprehensively review tender documents to understand the scope of works, intent of contract, specifications, and any special conditions.
  • To effectively plan tenders to ensure delivery within specified timeframes and manage deadlines.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and expertise into the estimation, quotation, and tendering of works by nominating preferred rehabilitation methodologies and delivery models.
  • Establish effective, robust, mutually accountable relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Assist in additional work requests as part of existing contracts.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil or Environmental highly regarded), Construction, or Surveying.
  • A minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience as a Bid Estimator in the civil or construction sectors.
  • Experience working on projects and tenders of varying complexity and size.
  • A strong understanding of Quality, WHS, and Environmental Management systems.
  • The ability to confidently manage strict deadlines and competing priorities.
  • A high level of attention to detail to manage tender documentation, preparation, and submission.
  • The ability to establish and grow strong stakeholder relationships.
