About the Role

Veolia is seeking an experienced Remediation Project Estimator to join our fast-growing Remediation Services team based in Sydney. This newly created position will involve estimating major remediation projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level estimation and tender services to support major projects in the Remediation Services space.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements nationally, securing preferred rates to ensure a competitive edge in the bid submission process.
  • Comprehensively review tender documents to understand scope, intent of contract, specifications, and special conditions.
  • Effectively plan tenders to ensure delivery within specified timeframes and manage deadlines.
  • Lead the estimation, quotation, and tendering of works by nominating preferred rehabilitation methodologies and delivery models.
  • Establish robust relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Support additional work requests as part of existing contracts.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil or Environmental highly regarded), Construction, or Surveying. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 3 years' demonstrated experience as a Bid Estimator in the civil or construction sectors.
