GFG Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Operations Leader to lead our operations and collaborate with our Area Managers and the broader VIC team.
In this role, you will leverage your leadership in Sales and Operations to drive sales performance, enhance safety, and improve operational efficiency for our well-established and diverse customer base.
The priorities of the role will include:
- Oversee and deliver on the logistics, operations, administration, and customer service targets of the site, while satisfying customer demands.
- Deliver on branch and individual customer growth targets.
- Review and implement employee coaching and training plans to leverage existing and new talent to achieve branch KPIs effectively.
- Drive revenue growth by providing high levels of external and internal customer service.
- Analyze performance and promote continuous improvement opportunities, including development planning sessions.
- Ensure safety compliance and policies are followed on-site and drive a proactive safety culture through the operational team.
- Monitor and report on DIFOT results and any significant issues on achieving results.
- Implement and embed strong process and communication standards for the planning, sales, and operations team.
Suitable candidates will have a proven track record in driving a high-performance sales and safety culture within the manufacturing industry.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Industry experience in sales and operations environments of related manufacturing, distribution, or warehousing establishments is preferred but not essential.
- Passionate about achieving high customer outcomes.
- Proven track record driving effective sales and operational processes.
- Proven experience monitoring and managing costs against targets.
