Financial Risk Management Specialist

Job Description:

The role of the Financial Risk Management Specialist involves collaborating with clients in the financial services sector to support the management and measurement of various types of financial risk, including market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and climate risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of financial risk management projects.
  • Work collaboratively with a skilled team across multiple projects focused on risks faced by banks and other financial institutions.
  • Utilize quantitative, statistical, or analytical skills to contribute to model development and validation engagements.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for the senior consultant position.
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, with a strong interest in financial risk and its implications.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in consultancy or client-facing roles.
  • A track record of business development and a professional network.
Salary Range: AUD $160,000 - AUD $180,000 per annum.
