Job Title: Risk Governance Strategist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Risk Governance Strategist. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of risk and customer outcomes by delivering better outcomes for customers, shareholders, and the community through smarter, more sustainable business practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring better risk outcomes through innovation and automation. You will support and implement automated controls that improve risk and compliance outcomes across retail banking services, ensure new and evolving processes are underpinned by robust automated controls during change initiatives, and lead continuous assurance efforts, embedding a proactive, data-driven approach to risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement automated controls to enhance risk and compliance outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain control frameworks to support business growth.
  • Conduct and manage control assurance programs, including test script development and reporting on findings.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • Possess experience in automated/application control testing or IT general controls with a strong operational risk mindset.
  • Hold proficiency in SQL and ability to use data to drive insights and decisions.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and implementation testing.
  • Exhibit strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Show strategic thinking capability to identify risks and opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
