This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of empathy, patience, and understanding. You will be working with individuals who require support with daily activities, personal care, and accessing community facilities.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to our customers, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being. This may include assisting with:

  • Daily living tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
  • Personal care, including hygiene and grooming
  • Transportation to appointments and community activities
  • Assistance with medication management

You will work closely with our team to develop and implement personalized plans that cater to the unique needs of each customer. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building strong relationships with our customers, their families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Experience as a Disability Support Worker or in a related field
  • A current driver's license, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS clearance, First Aid certification (3 years), CPR certification (12 months), and National Police clearance - or willingness to obtain
  • The ability to work a range of shifts, including morning and afternoon sessions

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes paid travel between client shifts, employee referral bonuses, retail perks, and opportunities for career advancement.
